PERFORMED BY MATTHEW CAFFOE & NICOLE REILLY
Matt and Nicole have two very different views on what the intended meaning of Romeo and Juliet actually was. On one hand, the play is about love and the many different facets of love that we can find - and ultimately the dangers associated with unbridled love. On the other hand, everything is fated to happen and nothing specifically is to blame except predetermination itself.
This version of Romeo and Juliet serves as an analytical exploration into the true meaning of Romeo and Juliet, and of course the many questions surrounding fate and love and it's role in the play. Introducing Mashed Theatre's first two hander - Matt and Nicole deliver an energetic, hilarious, and entertaining performance of our classically studied R&J.
